LYS is an independent Ukrainian art furniture studio creating collectible furniture, design objects, and interior pieces shaped by its own artistic vision, material sensitivity, and distinct formal identity.
Each work emerges from lived experience - from what is felt, remembered, and recognized as worth preserving.
Developed through a long and demanding handmade process, LYS pieces transform complexity of thought into complexity of form, becoming more than furniture - objects of presence, emotional depth, and identity.
My Soul
“My Soul” is a pair of sculptural cabinets that exist as independent objects while forming a shared image through dialogue.
The works reveal a “soul” - a geometric cube where hand-carved ornament gives depth and meaning to a simple form, uncovering tradition as a cultural value.
The sculptural outer layer - the “mantle” - creates tension between exterior and interior, between the present moment and memory.
