Pair of Side Tables “The Dance Nightstands”
A celebration of movement, contrast, and artistic freedom — the “Dance” side tables are more than just furniture. They are a performance in wood, a dialogue between two unique forms that are completely different from every side, yet drawn irresistibly to one another like dancers in a timeless duet.
Each table has four distinct sides, one reflecting - but never exactly copying - the other. Playful, dynamic supports emphasize the sense of motion, and when the tables are rearranged, the “choreography” changes, creating endless visual stories.
The facades are adorned with hand-carved radial patterns, following the natural lines of the form and revealing the layered structure of veneer with alternating grain directions. These reliefs evoke a rich palette of associations - peacock feathers, seashells, Munch’s paintings, natural quarries, topographic maps - inviting the viewer into an entire fantasy world.
