The “KULBABA” design was born from a desire to bring fragments of memory into modern living spaces — to fill them with meaning, craftsmanship, and respect for heritage.
Its hand-carved geometric ornaments are inspired by patterns found in traditional Ukrainian textiles, ceramics, and woodwork, yet here they are interpreted through a modern lens.
The name KULBABA - “Dandelion” (en) symbolizes lightness, renewal, and the natural cycle of life — just as a dandelion disperses its seeds to the wind, this design carries the spirit of tradition into the present.
Some ornament elements appear vivid and pronounced, while others are softened, as if faded by time. This balance between past and present makes the piece equally at home in minimalist and eclectic interiors.
